Almost there!

Well, there’s only 2 weeks of school left until winter holidays! Sadly we only get two weeks (our biggest break in six weeks for summer and christmas combined – it was 3 months in Ireland!), but it’s better than nothing. We got our half-yearly reports last week (I was expecting to get a Sound in geography) – I got Highs and Outstandings in every subject!

I have a few assignments to do today – for science and english. Thankfully, both are easy and nearly finished. Should have them finished by the end of the day.

Bye!

Why maths is better in a Hello Kitty exercise book…

Well, I’m back from Italy! Trip was great – saw all my family, ate too much, stayed up late and slept in (unfortunately breakfast ended at 10 am). Would definitely go back again. (Just for reference – mainly if I forget – I stayed at Hotel Majestic Palace in Malcesine, Lake Garda) Terribly jet lagged though – 7 hour trip, then 12 hour trip, then 1.5 hour trip then a 1.5 hour ride in a taxi (22 hours travelling plus airport waiting time) twice in one week!

Any way, while in Italy there was Hello Kitty stuff everywhere!!! So I bought a maths book for 50 Euro cents (AU$1) as mine was full (about 2 pages left). It is actually much better – the paper is easier to write on, and I can easily say it is the best looking maths book in my class. As it is Hello Kitty, I don’t want to wreck it – so my writing is neater, and I check my answers to avoid ugly crosses in my book.

So there’s you lesson for the day – buy a pretty school book and your work will be neater (results may vary)

Italia!

Well, although this is my first post, I am sad to say it will be alone for a while. “Why?” you probably didn’t ask?

Because…

I’M GOING TO ITALY! (Apologies if my shouting deafened you) For my aunt’s wedding on Tuesday. I’m going to Lake Garda, up north. I shall be leaving Sydney Airport tomorrow afternoon/evening, as long as the plane comes on time. It’s my first time to Italy, but I’ve been to Spain and France.

Buona notte (goodnight), if I can sleep that is – I’ve got SCOCE disease – Small Child On Christmas Eve disease.
